      RBC Water Scholarship - 2016 Entrance scholarships are awarded annually to full-time graduate students registered at the University of Waterloo who are conducting research in water and are registered in the collaborative Integrated Water Management Program. Recipients are selected based on their commitment to a water-focused program of study and academic excellence. This fund is made possible by a donation from the Royal Bank Financial Group to support and facilitate excellence in integrated water management.

It’s a merit-based scholarship, with awards available to graduate students attending participating schools in Ontario in all disciplines of academic study.As an international student, I participated in the international competition. Although one-third of Waterloo's graduate students are international, only five international OGS awards are available.

Udall Foundation Mar 2014 In 2014, the Udall Foundation awarded 50 scholarships to sophomore and junior level college students committed to careers related to the environment, tribal public policy, or Native American health care. The students selected as 2013 Udall Scholars receive a scholarship of up to $5,000 and participate in Udall Foundation activities, including a four-day Scholars Orientation in Tucson in August. I am one of two students to have received this honor in both 2013 and 2014.

Truman Scholarship Foundation Feb 2014 Scholarships for college juniors who show leadership potential and have an interest in government or public sector service. Each year, the Foundation reviews over 600 applications annually; approximately 200 individuals are selected as Finalists, and 55 to 65 of those are selected as Scholars. These 600 applications do not include the students who compete on their own campus for one of a school's four nominations.
