  • Personally responsible for all aspects of Expediting and Logistics for all the Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation Major Equipment, all Bulk Materials (Electrical, Mechanical & Piping), all Valves as well as all the Fabrication work, supplier Documentation and Logistics movements for all projects.• Responsible for the management of all the third party expeditor’s used around the world and the preparation of Expediting and Inspection Schedules and Plans, arranging kick off meetings and performing field expediting as required for all projects.• Responsible for the co-ordination of all third party Inspection & Expediting Services for all projects.• Responsible for reporting on the status and progress of all purchase orders and prepare and issue the project expediting and fabrication reports at weekly intervals which identifies all orders, current overview status, items of equipment and materials that are critical or are potentially critical to the schedule and specific actions required to ensure timely delivery to site, along with an action plan to achieve it.• Ensure advance warning of definite or potential late deliveries is given to the project/procurement manager and come up with solutions and appropriate actions to avoid or minimise delay to fabrication and installation activities.• Liaise with inspection team to ensure that all equipment is inspected as required by Project specifications.• Responsible for organisation of transportation/Freight movements of materials & equipment from vendors premises to site and/or final destination (Overseas / Interstate / Intrastate).
