  Recently have been promoted to a new position titled Manufacturing Line Supervisor. In charge of Manifold, Potting, Plungers and AFP Departments. Departments consist of 25+ employees including 2 team leaders who are also working under me. I have a high focus on process improvements as well as Lean Manufacturing as we try to improve all aspects of the business. Much of my job still consists of the day to day operations that i was involved in in my previous positions. I look to grow my team leaders and help them become a big part of the organization as i have worked so hard to do with myself. Show less Currently in training on a new Business oppurtunity that Norgren has acquired. AFP which is Analytical Flow Products. In process of learning all products and training Assemblers to get ready for full production in the near future. AFP focuses on Gas Chromotography Valves. Goal for me is to be 100% focused in this area and hopefully take my Valve Unit Supervisory experience and carry it over to the AFP project, and in the future even further that goal by becoming a Manager if this business grows like it is suppose to. Show less  Norgren is based on making Solenoid Valves. I am currently supervisor of the Valve Unit which consists of 16 employees. I started at Norgren as a Material Handler in which I used a scanning system to perform my daily tasks such as picking work orders for the Assembly floor, and moving parts in and out of the stock room. Also sparingly used Forklifts and Pallet Jacks throughout this time as well; I have been promoted twice in the 5 years that I have been with the company. First to team leader, followed by supervisor. Part of my job entails the training of all new employees on assembly of the current product that we produce. I am certified in Symix and in certified in JD Edwards’s software. I am also certified in all aspects of Microsoft Office, and have received certification in Supervisory 101 course. I have participated and lead multiple teams through Kaizen events throughout the company, in which we have accomplished improving OTD, improving efficiency, creating more space for future business, and also creating a more ergonomic and safe environment to work within each department. Have lead teams through are annual inventory, and have also played a role on the Safety Committee for the last two years where I have assembled teams to perform Job Hazard Analysis’ throughout different departments. I perform capability analysis’ for certain customers and also complete Root Cause Analysis’ and Corrective Action Reports for any returned material. On a monthly basis I take part in a Layered Audit program in which I perform audits in different areas throughout the factory. Show less
