Load planning, load sheet production and active aircraft dispatching was undertaken whilst complying with strict CAA security rules and regulations.Company licensed to dispatch:Airbus A321/A320/A319 Boeing 737-300 / 737-400 / 737-500Embraer 145 / 135I initially joined British Midland Airways (later known as bmi) - but during airport and company restructuring, LBA handling was eventually sold and controlled by Aviance UK.   As an Operations Controller for Jet2.com I am tasked with over seeing a growing fleet of (+50) aircraft consisting of Boeing 737-300, Boeing 737-800 & Boeing 757-200.The role requires the supervision of flight planning, ATFM slot monitoring and the dispatch of all company aircraft throughout Europe and beyond. The airline operates as a scheduled low cost carrier in tandem with the company's tour operator Jet2holidays. During the peak of summer, the company has generally operated around 180 sectors a day, although summer 2014 is set to eclipse this figure.By night, Cargo operations will typically see 20 sectors conducted on behalf of the Royal Mail, between Mon-Fri. This is conducted by utilising (x8) Boeing 737-300 QC (quick change) airframes and (x1) Boeing 737-300 freighter from the company's fleet. I have a solid understanding of RM5 (airline operations suite) ,FWZ (flight planning system), OCS & CHMI.
