The major tasks involved were the development and integration of tools aimed to reduce the risk of food allergies in hospital and the tracking of default meal rates, patient satisfaction levels, staff workload and food waste during the transition from a paper-based menu ordering system to an electronic ordering system.

  Completed a 5-week community public health placement in SunKids Stadium Village Child Care Centre. The major task involved was an environmental audit to address the enablers and barriers to healthy eating and drinking in SSVCCC. Recommendations were subsequently developed aimed at improving the dietary intakes of children at the centre.
