The songs were inspired by people she met while working in refugee camps in Greece. 'Maktub' brings a special mix of Western and Eastern pop music that tells the stories of people who've had to flee their homes. All money raised by the EP, goes to where the inspiration for the album came from: all profits are donated to Sounds of Change; a Dutch organisation who provides music lessons in refugee camps all over the world.
