      Researcher Ph.D. Student

During my Ph.D. tenure, I spearheaded research at the intersection of applied mathematics and electronics, focusing on the development and application of innovative methods to address complex challenges in electromagnetic fields and transmission-line networks. My research led to significant contributions presented at international IEEE conferences to foster knowledge exchange and collaboration within the scientific community. The outcomes of my work were published in esteemed IEEE Journals to contribute to the body of knowledge in the field of wire diagnosis and electromagnetic compatibility. My work encompassed:Advanced Inverse Problem Solving: Pioneered novel techniques for time-domain inverse problems, which enabled precise control and reduction of electromagnetic fields in linear and nonlinear media. These methods have practical implications in mitigating electromagnetic interference and enhancing electromagnetic compatibility.Fault Compensation in Transmission-Line Networks: Introduced a cutting-edge approach, named the linear combination of the configuration field (LCCF) method, to mitigate the effects of electrical faults within transmission-line networks by actively canceling their echoes. This novel technique underwent rigorous numerical validation and experimental testing, proving its effectiveness in real-world scenarios.Nanosecond Microwave Plasma Control: Led research efforts in shaping electromagnetic fields to control nanosecond microwave plasma within a reverberant cavity. This work, which involved an unplanned collaboration with Toulouse University, has far-reaching applications in the field of plasma physics and opens avenues for enhanced plasma control. Show less

      Cable System Expert

During my tenure as a Cable Expert specializing in subsea power cables, I played a pivotal role in a multifaceted project for esteemed organizations including Total Energies, EDF, RTE, and Ifremer. This experience provided me with the opportunity to cultivate a diverse skill set. From conducting intricate evaluations of cable conditions to spearheading projects, I honed my proficiencies in comprehensive reporting and analysis, effective interpersonal communication, adept orchestration of project lifecycles, proficient technical leadership, meticulous documentation, strategic engagement with stakeholders, robust risk management, and judicious budget oversight. These competencies collectively empowered me to drive innovation within subsea power cable systems, ensuring their reliability and resilience in the most demanding contexts. Objectives include:Conduct exhaustive cable condition assessments, encompassing mechanical, thermal, environmental, and predominantly electrical failures from initiation to breakdown in dynamic subsea power cables for floating offshore wind farms.Perform benchmarking of various monitoring technologies across multiple industries, offering suggestions for adapting and enhancing these technologies for the monitoring of dynamic subsea power cables.Recommend current and future preventive maintenance technologies capable of real-time monitoring to prevent the recurrence of cable failures and related accessories.Evaluate the efficiency and applicability of key technologies at EDF R&D laboratories.Estimate the potential impact of proposed monitoring strategies on the Capital Expenditure (CapEx) and Operational Expenditure (OpEx) of the studied wind farms. Earthing, EMC & Lightning Protection Engineer in Nuclear Power Plants

In my role as an Electrical Engineer at Edvance, a key part of the EDF Group, I am deeply involved in enhancing the electrical safety and operational integrity of EPR2 nuclear power plants. My responsibilities are multifaceted and crucial for the plant's safety and efficiency. A significant part of my work involves the identification and analysis of zones susceptible to lightning strikes. I develop and implement tailored protection strategies for these zones, ensuring their resilience against such high-impact events.Additionally, I focus on the critical task of establishing robust earthing systems. By ensuring proper connections between systems or equipment and the earth, I enhance the overall safety and stability of the plant's electrical and non-electrical infrastructure. This aspect of my work is vital in mitigating electrical hazards and ensuring a safe working environment.Another key area of my expertise is in the development and implementation of comprehensive Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) strategies. This involves not only ensuring that both electrical and non-electrical equipment within the plant operate seamlessly without interference, but also extends to the qualification of this equipment in compliance with international EMC standards. My role is pivotal in maintaining the operational integrity of the plant, safeguarding against electromagnetic disturbances, and ensuring that all equipment meets the rigorous safety and operational standards required in such a high-stakes environment.
