  Involved in the continuation of previously set up research projectsMember of the Experience Sampling Method (ESM) working group Investigated network connectivity, using fMRI, in relation to state- and trait-related characteristics as well as in relation to gene X environment (G X E) interactions in people with (increased risk for) psychotic disorder. June to August 2012: visiting researcher at Cambridge University Thesis title: The idle mind never rests: functional brain connectivity across the psychosis continuum In this period I worked as a student tutor in several Psychology and Medical bachelor courses, e.g., methods and techniques; statistics I; history of psychology; communication skills; psychopathology, thinking and doing: the brain in movement, disturbances of consciousness. Organizing educational events for PhD students who are part of the School for Mental Health and Neuroscience (MHeNS).

  Lifespan psychology is an overarching framework, which considers the study of individual development from conception into old age. Human development takes place in interaction with the environment. People are not static, but dynamic. Through adversity and learning from success people adapt and grow. Inspired by positive psychology, the emphasis of my research is on stimulating wellbeing, growth and self-realisation.-developing and conducting Bachelor and Master courses in lifespan psychology -supervising Bachelor and Master theses -supervising psychodiagnostic, clinical and research internships -conducting research in line with the faculty research programme-acquiring external funding for research -co-supervising PhD research -member of the Research Ethics Committee (cETO) at the Open University Show less yOUng is the corporate young employee association of the Open University.The main goals of this association are:- to present a platform for young employees to connect them- to present a platform of young employees for other university bodies- to professionalize young employees via diverse activities- to maintain an external network with other corporate young associations from regional companies- to provide more input from younger employees to management and policy development Show less
