  Project Manager (contract)

  Managed a multiple site, SDVOSB mechanical renovation contract for the Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service. Project included removal and replacement of a 250 ton chiller, with limited shut down time and new BACnet controls, process piping replacements for research greenhouses and replacement of carbon filtration systems. Utilized 3-D BIM and pre-fabrication to replace chiller in less than two days, including start-up.

  Managed federal sector projects for MEP contracting company with offices in Riverside County, California. Responsible for handling projects from conceptual budget, through design, bid, build and close-out, including onsite staff management. Clients included USACE, NAVFAC, BOP, and GSA and various Prime Contractors. Consistently completed projects on time, under budget with zero safety incidents.

  General Superintendent/Area Manager for multiple regions/military bases and agencies of the Department of Defense. Responsible for managing a vast array of multiple projects across all disciplines. Train and develop job site Superintendents, Safety Officers and Construction Quality Control Managers. Provide technical input during design development, estimating and advanced planning. Establish relationships and serve as primary point of contact for regional marketing efforts.

  Led the Construction side of a boutique Design-Build firm. Developed conceptual estimates, performed constructability reviews and value engineering, etc. Managed client and vendor relationships. Supervised and mentored a staff of Project Managers and Superintendents. Implemented Lean Construction Methods. Developed, implemented and trained on custom cross functional processes for the efficient and effective completion of a wide variety of design-build projects.
