Also that the material is defect free and is accompanied by the required documentation, and when material or documentation is in error working with the purchasing department and suppliers to correct the errors. Recording and keeping track of materials to ensure that they are used on the specific job that they were purchased for and that all required documentation is available for client turnover packages or inspection. Releasing spool drawings for fabrication after determining all materials required for fabrication of spools is in stock. Preparing shortage lists for materials that are not in stock.
