      • Operated as a supplier quality engineer to keep factory lines running by containing problems on the line, testing and diagnosing the issues, and coordinating with suppliers to resolve the problems and ensure that the factory received working stock in as little time as possible• Led and aided with over 10 projects and coordinated with team members to solve problems across 9 plants and satellite locations• Took charge as the leader for several part changes and presented the cases to the Change Implementation Boards in each plant • Cooperated with a fellow co-op to design and build 2 motor testers to diagnose the largest problem the factory was seeing in washer motors• Organized the move of two large granite tables across the plants in order to create a measurement area that would allow the team to test and diagnose failures in house instead of spending money and time to ship the parts to the suppliers and wait for a diagnosis• Received a Bronze Above and Beyond Award for work on a project that saved the company thousands of dollars• Created an extensive training manual for the following co-ops to use that will make the transition into the position easier Show less

Completed 3 part removal projects to remove tape in the unit to take time off operators' jobs and open the door for a job removal in the future. Created a tracker for the End of Line Audit solutions that were implemented so that repeat issues did not occur. This helped ensure that the EOLA scorecard was always at or above the goal of 95%. Created a training manual for the position to ease the transition period and help future SCDP’sAttended daily meetings with plant president, operations leaders, and business leaders, to speak on the supplier quality issues in the plant. Devised a packaging plan for a part that both the supplier and GEA agreed with to prevent the high percentage of scratched parts that were coming in. Saved the company thousands of dollars in scrap costs for a minimal increase in price.Coordinated with new suppliers and gave daily updates to them to resolve and improve startup issues. Led several part change projects in conjunction with platform engineers to improve ergonomic, visual standards, and functional issues with parts. Project leader for two part changes that correlated to three job saves resulting in a cost savings of $150K a year.
