  Working at Walgreens was an extremely taskfull, yet learning experience job. Responsibilities include providing great customer service, making sure customers leave the store content with the purchases they made, and making customers want to come back to the store to purchase items later on as well. Working at walgreens means working at the cash register, working with customers, providing help at photo labs and cosmetics centers. Additionally, being a drug store, learning about medications was a benefit, along with being close to pharmacy workers as knowledge was gained regarding medication. Show less

  With a high volume due to COVID-19, I was able to work with Physicians and Nurse Practitioners while interacting with nurses and X-Ray Techs. I was able to understand the importance of all the healthcare workers as together they created a melodious workflow. Responsibilities entailed of intaking patient info, triaging by taking vitals such as blood pressure, pulse, weight, temperature, and format the patient’s HPI chart, following with the provider attending the patient and putting in orders to confer care. Along with taking vitals of patients, I was able to swab patients for COVID-19 such as running: Rapid Antigen, Rapid Molecular, and PCR testings. Show less As a Medical Receptionist, I was able to gain knowledge about different types of health insurances and interact with patients in a friendly manner before they were seen by the doctor. Responsibilities as a MR were to greet patients and answer phone calls in a polite manner, verify insurances and collect payments for the patient’s visits, scan labs and x-ray results into patients charts. These were extremely important responsibilities and tasks so children and their parents felt comfortable and welcomed at our facility. Show less
