  •Provided leadership in and out of the control room, directing the production and collaborating with producers to execute an error-free news production. •Responsible for gathering, organizing, coordinating, and executing all elements involved in the live production, while overseeing all technical staff, including the Audio Operator, Studio, Production Assistants, and Technical Director to drive the finished product on air. •Planned and executed the technical aspect of live nightly broadcasts, leading production crew and control room team as either the director or technical director for 5pm-6pm, 6:30 pm, and 11 pm evening newscasts.•Managed the control center for live newscasts, including detailed, clear, and constant verbal communication with technical director on images, graphics, and video to display on screen; microphone usage; graphics to cue; shots to frame; and camera to use.•Cued and rolled appropriate video while directing the broadcast in real-time and receiving updates on live shots of reporters in the field or in satellite bureaus.•Directed daily news and station promotional spots, working as an audio operator for newscasts.•Served as a liaison between news and production departments.•Worked with the news producers to deliver a clean and high energy newscast.•Winner of the 2010 Southeast Emmy Award for Outstanding Achievement: Television News Programming Excellence Newscast; WYFF News 4 at 11.
