      Supervised the delivery and execution of curriculum for the Battle Staff Course, one of the Army's premier schools. Certified as an Army Instructor. In addition, I instructed the Basic Leader Course, the Army's initial school for newly promoted junior leaders. Served as a liaison between government agencies responsible for actions related to the granting or revoking of security clearances on behalf of approximately 300 Department of Defense personnel. Developed the physical security plan for the organization which implemented policies protecting sensitive military equipment, weapons, and information valued into the tens of millions of dollars. Led four sections totaling 32 subordinates and eight junior leaders in a high paced, stressful environment. Coordinated logistical support for all four sections during daily activities and major field training exercises. Developed programs aimed at ensuring the success of personnel in areas of physical fitness, career progression, and operational sustainability. Led a 15 man team of combat advisors deployed to Kunar Provice, Afghanistan to enhance the operational capability of Afghan Security Forces in the area. Led four sections totaling 32 subordinates and eight junior leaders in a high paced, stressful environment. Coordinated logistical support for all four sections during daily activities and major field training exercises. Developed programs aimed at ensuring the success of personnel in areas of physical fitness, career progression, and operational sustainability.

      Research Assistant

      I served as a research assistant for the FPI primate monitoring program during the 2021 summer field season. I assisted PIs in observing, baiting, trapping, and evaluating the health of individual titi monkeys, saddleback tamarins, and emperor tamarins. In addition to primates I worked on the bat capture team, erecting mist-nets and helping PIs evaluate individuals.

      Earned a Master of Science (thesis track) for the Haase Ecology Lab at Austin Peay State University. My research focused on predator ecology as it impacts the foraging behavior in temperate bat species of the Southeastern United States. In addition I took part in population surveys of bats across the region by participating in hibernaculum surveys in the winter and through mist-netting surveys in the summer.
