  As a Benefits Administrator, I am responsible for the assistance and advocacy of new-hires, active, full-time, part-time employees, retirees, and COBRA members in enrolling into their health benefits through their employers, which are our clients, as we are an extension of HR. I am involved in the management of client cases as it pertains to dependent verification, life events, COBRA, direct billing, payroll, FMLA/LOA, consumer accounts, condolences, and all insurance platforms including medical, dental, and vision. I am tasked with informing employees of new hire guidelines for health benefits, deadlines and requirements for document submissions, expectations for COBRA enrollment and standard annual enrollment assistance, technical department assistance, and client criteria within various structure groups. Typically, I am responsible for the execution of over 700-800 calls a month, back-to-back during peak hours of operation over the phone.I am expected to comply and with industry standard expectations including ACA, HIPAA, Cyber Security, federal laws, and state laws.
