  Name of Current Employer : TCM Maintenance Duties & Responsibilities At TCM I work as a CE (Customer Engineer) for all the Mediclinics in the Cape Peninsula. I was responsible for the maintenance of IBM servers, Storage devices, Printers, Computers, Laptops and Thin Clients. I reloaded and did all the maintenance on servers. I did maintenance on storage devices such as tape libraries. On Computer’s I did the normal maintenance such as replacing parts and reloading them, different kinds of Computer’s was used such as Mecer, HP and Fujitsu Esprimos. Laptops worked on were HP (8530P, 8540P, 8560P, 2740P, etc.) and IBM (T61, T61, etc). I also did the maintenance of these machines as per client requests, such as replacing motherboards, memory, screens, etc. and the reloading of aforementioned units. Network printers was also maintained - all types of HP printers (P3005, 3035m, 9050m, 9040m, 6040 etc.) and also IBM printers (IBM 4247 003, IBM 4247 x03, IBM 6500 etc). I did installations of new Laptops and printers configuring of both. I also assisted with the bulk roll out of new machines throughout the Mediclinic group.Currently I am part of the Mediclinic Service Desk Second line Support that assists users remotely (VNC, Remote Desktop Connections) resolving problems with MS office, printers, unlocking accounts in AD, etc. Second line is responsible to log call and resolve problem on users request and also calls that’s logged by First Line agents. We are the contact center for any problem that users in the Mediclinic and ER24 group does have aswell as assisting Patient to connect to the WiFi at the hospitals by creating account for them or creating vouchers for overseas Patients.
