      - Designed and built a 700,000$, net-zero, off-the-grid house to promote agricultural tourism in the UAE- Solely designed a full-house water system: storage, distribution, solar water heating, fixtures, recirculation, removal- Performed market and product research, fund-raised & formed partnerships with Grundfos, Geberit, Sharkbite, etc.- Constructed the house on site in 1.5 months in a team of 12 students and 15 workersSolar Decathlon is a competition that challenges students to design and build sustainable and innovative housing. It was first started in 2002 in the US and has since taken place in Europe, Latin America, China, Africa, and the Middle East involving more than 18,000 participants. Solar Decathlon Middle East was organized by the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) and the US Department of Energy with 21 international teams participating. Show less
