  DANIEL Division of EMERSON has the knowhow of implement Oil and Gas Measurement Systems, so, as an instrumentation engineer, I worked at the development of technical documentation, the instrumentation and electrical material specification for each project. Another part of this job was the commissioning of these stations, where, after the end of construction, I have to check and test all the instruments in the Field to the station be able to start its operation.

  In this job, I worked in strategy of GM South America product portfolio to assure the company would be able to attend future regulations requirements, in specific, GHG (Green House Gases) corporate CAFE in Brazil and Chile. Other regulation also important was related to Tailpipe Emissions, with Brazil in transition to the so called PL8 phase which defined limits to be achieve on corporate level. The result expected is to find the right balance of products and cadence of deployment of new technologies. Show less As an Energy Engineer, my main role is to assure that Mid-size Trucks programs development will be concluded with a good balance between Fuel Economy and Performance meeting Market Regulations, Company and Customer expectations. Daily activities include:- Vehicle Performance and Fuel Economy Simulation at Matlab;- Manage execution and Analysis of physical Tests of Fuel Economy;- Vehicle Road Load definition;- Correlation between physical tests and simulated models;- Integrate different groups (Powertrain, Electrical, Mass, Aero, NVH) to Fuel Economy optimization;- Certification activities. Show less I work as an Instrumentation Engineer at Operations Group. This group is responsible to provide technical and work force support to Vehicle Integration Development. In specific, I’m responsible to the vehicle Instrumentation Laboratory, so, I provide technical solutions at data acquisition and signal monitoring for HVAC/PTC/Thermal, Energy, Powertrain Integration and Durability teams. It’s my job to certify that these groups has the most up-to-date equipments and post-analysis tools that are communized with all Proving Grounds that GM has around the world. My current projects are directly involved with Data Acquisition Systems using IPEtronik, HBM Somat, and NI cRIO for Vehicle Data logging.   At the first semester of the Year, I was responsible for Algorithms and Program Language for the first term of Control & Automation Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering, where I describe the basic structures of procedural basic algorithms and their implementation at C Language.On the second semester, I lecture on Electricity, introducing the students to concepts of the elementary components of circuits, Kirchhoff’s Laws, Fasor and the analysis of circuit in DC/AC.
