  Project Engineer Intern

  As a Project Engineer at Andersen Construction, I am part of the project management team for the North Canyon Medical Center in Twin Falls, Idaho. This project involves constructing a 3-story, 25,000-square-foot Medical Office Building featuring MRI, CT, and X-ray imaging suites. The steel-structured facility is enclosed with stone, EIFS, sheet metal panels, and TPO roofing. While continuing my internship with Andersen Construction throughout school, I also contributed to the pre-construction phase for North Canyon Medical Center’s main campus hospital in Gooding, Idaho. This project is a two-phase, 4,000-square-foot remodel of the surgical department, including the addition of a new operating room. My responsibilities have included bid leveling, procurement, RFIs, submittals, closeout procedures, QA/QC, pre-install coordination, and interpreting specifications and contracts, providing me with well-rounded experience in both pre-construction and active project management.
