  My research was essentially based on developing inhibitors for amyloid beta peptide. Amyloid beta is involved in the pathogenesis of Alzheimer's disease. I constructed a Tandem construct of two amyloid beta peptide by biosynthesis. The Tandem construct inhibited the fibrilization of amyloid beta in substoichiometric ratio.

  Instructor for the Biochemical Methods course (BMS 672) for graduate and undergraduate students at SUNY, Albany Research in Protein drug intercations, Protein structure and function. My special interest involves FKBP class of proteins; these are targets for FK506 and Rapamycin, which are used during organ transplantation.
