Youtube
Mar 2014 - nowVideo producerI independently research, script, film, and video edit content for six (6) individual channels. I also coordinate and plan with others who guest star and help with my videos. I maintain professionalism and a consistent quality in all the content I create, conducting copyright research, giving proper credits, and reviewing monetization and advertisement settings for all channels. I like to go the extra mile to make the experience more enjoyable for viewers, manually typing subtitles, creating links and playlists for easy access, and referencing related channels. Show less

May 2021 - Aug 2021Orientation leader - new student admissionsAs an orientation leader, I managed a group of about 40 new college students and helped make their first campus experience a welcoming one. After several months of online trainings and coordination with the team, Orientation Leaders arrived to campus a few weeks early for in-person training and team-building activities practice. Once my students arrived to campus, I was the first to welcome them. I provided them with custom walking tours, indoor and outdoor activities, and guided them to academic sessions prior to classes starting. My group appreciated my friendly and personable nature and banded together to give me a gift. Following the week of orientation, I maintained contact with my group, checking in on them and inviting them to campus activities. Show less

Jul 2021 - nowElementary education paraprofessionalI am the teacher's #1 helper in a seasonal summer camp for elementary school students. I help provide a mix of learning activities, crafts, exercise, and life skills. Whenever a student is struggling or has a question, I am always ready to help with a smile and understanding. Students look up to me as a role model and a friend, and I emphasize the importance of being polite and taking turns. When multiple kids ask me for help or to play games with them at recess, I promise to take turns and keep that promise. Working together with the teachers, we help the students stay engaged and increase learning retention between school years. Show less

Oct 2021 - May 2023Between my senior year classes, I helped other students with their classes. As a support coach, my job was to help students with intellectual disabilities excel in college. I was assigned 3-4 students per semester, and for each student, I needed to 1) help within class, 2) plan times to help with homework outside of class, and 3) provide social support by attending events with my students. I helped with note taking, participated in all class activities naturally, and stayed on top of all my students' assignments and deadlines. I made certain to always treat my students and classmates with kindness and respect as peers, and became good friends with many of them. The Integrated Studies program was a fantastic and seamless way to include everyone in the college experience. Show less Throughout half of my college career, I provided bi-weekly walking tours to prospective students and received multiple awards and honors for my performance. Every session was about two hours and required me to have a vast knowledge of Millersville University's offerings, and memorize deliver speeches for every campus building. With variables such as group size, weather, and campus events, however, I needed to be flexible and able to change the tour on the spot. I have also added improvements to Millersville's tours after discussing with leaders, making the default route more efficient, and allowing more customization and "plan B" locations based on the guests' prospective majors. During the COVID-19 pandemic, virtual tours were added as an option, and I provided feedback and helped contribute campus photos to the platform to improve it. There were also large-scale admission events that occurred four times per semester, and I was relied upon for being the most efficient with decoration and setup. I was recognized for being knowledgeable, friendly, dedicated, and always smiling, receiving complements from guests and coworkers alike. Show less

Disney parks, experiences and products
Sept 2023 - Apr 2024Cast member - disney college programWorking at Walt Disney World, I received 59 Cast Compliments, which are manual recognitions that guests create to recognize specific employees. I was then honored with the Cast Recognition Week award in March 2024 for having received the most guest compliments received at Disney's Riviera Resort. The Disney College Program is a temporary internship in which employees are assigned to work front-of-house in one of the theme parks or resorts in Florida. I was assigned to the quick service restaurant, Primo Piatto, at Disney's Riviera Resort, which is functionally complex because there is a lot of customization available to guests when they place an order. I maintained careful coordination with coworkers and leadership, always flexible and adaptable. I was relied upon for my efficiency and organization, always trusted to complete difficult tasks or maintain the restaurant's cleanliness.I also learned Spanish (practicing on my own and with friends) to better assist guests. I realized that a large percentage of Disney guests speak only in Spanish, and oftentimes there is no Spanish-speaking employee available, so I took the initiative and learned the language to maximize my ability to contribute.
