In addition to leading the Japan audits of several Global financial institutions, she provides both accounting and advisory services to both domestic and foreign financial institutions. Chikako has established Fintech & Innovation Office in Japan, to provide x-LoS services from strategy through execution consulting & advisory services and assurance services to financial institutions and start-up companies, including advisory to support to establish / improve governance & controls to meet regulatory requirement, business strategy to adopt blockchain / cryptocurrency, internal audit, etc. and established Blockchain / Decentralized Ledger Technology CoE in Japan Assurance to be more focused on assurance services related to blockchain and DLT.Chikako has lead the several advisory services to support cryptocurrency exchanges to apply the registration to JFSA, including the establishment of governance, internal controls and regulatory reporting required by the regulations Chikako is also the first leader of cryptocurrency working group established by the Japanese Institute of Certified Public Accountants (JICPA), which defines the rules of audits of financial statements of cryptocurrency exchanges and the attestation of customer asset segregation of those exchanges. Those audits / attestations are required by the Japanese Payment Service Act.Chikako is an statutory auditor of Blockchain Collaborative Consortium and an advisor of Digital Currency Forum Show less
