Responsibilities and Accountabilities: - Worked as Resident Inspector at Karachi Nuclear Plant to carry out planning, organizing and execution of baseline/special inspections. - Reviewed condition monitoring reports and carried out RCFA related to plant operation and maintenance issues. - Writing of Asset Integrity Reports on fitness-for-service of critical equipment for plant operation after completing design life of 30 years.- Conducted Integrity Audits pertaining to Pressure Vessels, Steam Generators, feed water piping etc to assess equipment health for operation beyond design life.- Assessment of damage mechanism and remnant life of steam generators, condensers, pipelines and other stationary equipment and develop recommendations in the light of international codes and standards. - Excellent command on basic NDT techniques; like Penetrant Testing, Magnetic Particle Testing, Radiographic Examination, Ultrasonic Testing, Thermography, etc. - Training of Technicians using computerized tests on ASME, NDTs, Arresting Cracks, Corrosion, Health assessment of pipelines & vessels, Welding Specifications, NDT Scope and PWHT were also completed.
