    • Washington State Department of Ecology

      May 2014 - now

As an environmental engineer working for the Financial Management Section of Ecology's Water Quality program, I assist small communities statewide in supporting wastewater planning, design, and construction projects through our Water Quality Combined Funding Program. I work one-on-one with communities and Ecology's regional staff to help find funding solutions for their wastewater needs. I enjoy working with other technical assistance providers and partner agencies, on both the state and federal level, to help fund infrastructure needs for communities all across the beautiful state of Washington. I am also passionate about recruiting people to the clean water work force in all capacities! Show less I serve as a Permit Manager and Facility Engineer in the Water Quality Program for the Department of Ecology Eastern Region Office. My role entailed working with municipal wastewater facilities in the 13 eastern most counties within the state of Washington by reviewing engineering documents, inspecting facilities, and writing both NPDES and State Waste Discharge Permits. I also worked as part of the regional team tasked with managing funding agreements and assistance through Ecology's Water Quality Combined Funding Program. Show less
