      My duties include assisting the Installation Fire Chief in the overall technical and administrative management of the department with specific emphasis on training functions pertaining to fire suppression, hazardous materials, special operations and logistics. I am the department Health and Safety Officer and serve as Incident Safety Officer. I have been responsible for planning, developing, conducting and implementing the training program of the department consisting of approximately 86 firefighting personnel. I am the Fire & Emergency Services lead of the Installation Training Team that plans, executes and evaluates installation level training exercises to include the tenant commands aboard Naval Station Guantanamo Bay to include: Joint Task Force Guantanamo, Marine Corps Security Forces Company and the US Naval Hospital. I am the Fire & Emergency Services lead of the PB4T (Planning Board For Training). I serve as the Departmental Training Officer for the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT).
