Advisor: Shahhosseiny, MH (Ph.D.), Associate Professor; Co-Adviser: Mazaheri Assadi, M (Ph.D.), Associate Professor.Abstract: Helicobacter pylori has been recognized as a major cause of peptic ulcer and duodenum as well as gastric cancer. This bacterium takes the form of coccoid in water and is an important factor for transmitting contamination through water. The aim of this study was to compare LAMP test with PCR, for rapid and accurate identification of Helicobacter pylori in gastric biopsy tissue samples of patients and coccoid forms in water. This study revealed that the LAMP test had a higher accuracy, sensitivity and specificity than PCR. Show less
