  Formed a club where people interested in Politics and Economics could engage in constructive discourse outside of the classroom setting, scheduled educational meetings with professionals in related fields, and encouraged application of classroom concepts to current events. Taught children ages 3-16 how to swim and kept patrons safe in a pool environment. Trained new instructors to develop optimal leadership and communication techniques, while stressing elements of patience and adaptability. Gave new lifeguards safety tips and made sure they were aware of peripheral job requirements.

  Worked for the Washington State House Democratic Caucus to support both members and fellow staffers as the State Legislature made calculated changes to improve its staffing structure. Assisted with the hiring process, participated in workgroup improvement talks, and provided transitional coverage for the office of the House Transportation Committee Chair, Representative Jake Fey (27th LD). Supported Representative Debra Lekanoff (D), 40th Legislative District (which includes parts of Whatcom, Skagit and San Juan Counties), who was the Vice Chair of the House State Government & Tribal Relations Committee and also sat on the Appropriations Committee and the Rural Development, Agriculture & Natural Resources Committee.
