  After I finished my master, I got notice of a position to work for a project called : "Distress and regional brain metabolism: a correlational study in metastatic breast cancer patients" together with Fundação Champalimaud. This project required a lot of data processing using Elastix, Matlab and Excel.

  As a graduated Physics student, that worked in medical research I wanted change my career to an old interest of mine: programming. I found a trainee-ship at Capgemini Netherlands, where I got trained to become a Java developer in Scrum teams. Working with Jira, Git, SOAP UI, POSTman, Microsoft SQL Server Management, IIS (Internet Information Services) was part of this. Besides the programming language Java, I also learned C# .NET and front-end (PrimeFaces, Angular, JavaScript, HTML/CSS).   While I was working at Capgemini, I got an assignment in one of the developement teams of ABN-AMRO. It was a pleasure to put my Java knowledge to work at such a great company. I helped build the back-end for a requested dashboard.

  I started at Nationale-Nederlanden via an assignment of Capgemini. Even though, I was trained as a Java developer, I started this assignment as a front-end developer. Using Angular I managed the front-end part of a portal. Later, I got added to a team to manage another application in Java.Only in 2021, I got bought over to work directly at Nationale-Nederlanden. I changed team to work for an application in C# .NET and help out with Java.

  Triventura is my own startup company. I designed the idea of the company myself and created it from the ground up. My software developer skills helped me create the entire website in Java, JavaScript, CSS, and mySQL. This came with challenges and learning moments. Triventura is growing fast. My personal goal is slowly getting achieved.
