  Support strengthening of the training system in Liberia, with a focus on supporting coordination and capacity building activities across those involved in in-service training: the training unit, HRH technical working group, vertical programs and other key training implementer in Liberia.Strengthened the MOH training unit through training staff to become effective managers (and trainers) using a coordinated training process Collaborated with MOH and other partners for the review of the In-service Training Strategy. Developed a template that ensured that issues such as mentoring, on-the-job training/coaching and supervision are standardized and adequately addressed Developed a master training calendar to track and coordinate all in-service trainings in Liberia  Ensured that appropriate trainings are conducted for healthcare workers based on the MOH approved SQS (and other recommended training) package and evaluate ongoing SQS (including other recommended) trainings in the country’s health sector Show less

  -Lead business development activities related to Health System Strengthening, including identifying and vetting new opportunities and contributing to the development of proposals.Serves as the technical authority in regards to health system strengthening work across the Liberia Program and coach others on the Health System Strengthening team, ensuring that the team is positioned to achieve goals and accelerate its impact.Responsible for setting, tracking, and reporting on KPIs and OKRs related to the Health System Strengthening Program Area. Leads on establishing and achieving Liberia’s programs strategy as it relates to health system strengthening. Oversee a portfolio of key grants focused on Health System Strengthening. This includes tracking and reporting on grant deliverables, KPI,s and key results.Actively track, mitigate, and elevate risks that may impede a project and/or grant from reaching its intended impact.Ensure projects under the Health System Strengthening Project area remain in scope, on budget and on time through the utilization of project management tools including, but not limited to a work plan, risk mitigation plan, and stakeholder matrix.Act as the key relationship holder with the Ministry of Health and serves as an advisor to other leaders as to how to engage appropriately with relevant counterparts. Maintains and continues to build LMH’s strong reputation as the technical lead in Community Health with the Ministry of Health, donors, and partners. Through collaborative efforts with other partners, I envisioned a robust and strengthened community health program that provide access and encourages utilization of high quality health services to all people especially people living in the most remote parts of Liberia.
