      Activities and Societies: Berry College Concert Choir, In His Name Gospel Choir, NAfME Collegiate Group, Kappa Delta Pi Each year, I completed a certain number of hours of classroom experience. I was able to gain experience in Elementary Schools through High Schools. During Spring semester of my senior year, I completed my semester-long student teacher experience which also included attending pre-planning and the first few weeks of school in August. In addition to my required experience, I also volunteered at Berry Middle and a local choir for special needs adults and children.

      Every day, I was able to work with children from 1 to 9 years old, but I mainly worked in the Pre-K classrooms. I planned daily learning activities such as music and movement, story-telling, and vocabulary during circle time, as well as art. I loved finding ways to engage them in the activities and during play so that they can get the most out of their learning experiences.
