By deploying a mesh network of these low-maintenance, energy-efficient sensors, farmers can get real-time data on soil moisture levels across their crops, even in remote areas. This enables more targeted irrigation, conserving water while optimizing crop health and yields.I'm proud that our novel sensor design and its potential for positive environmental impact earned this recognition from the judges. Collaborating with a talented interdisciplinary team to ideate, prototype and pitch a viable product within the competition's tight 48-hour timeline was both challenging and incredibly rewarding. This experience reinforced my passion for leveraging technology to solve real-world problems in sustainable ways. It also strengthened my skills in creative problem-solving, product design, and pitching. I look forward to applying my enhanced abilities to drive innovation in my future endeavors. Show less
