      In December 2014 I engaged in a two-week community service in Honduras with Public Health and Medical/Dental Global Brigades. During the trip I worked closely with the volunteers, stuff members, licensed professionals, and local people to recognize the essential health and social needs of the rural areas in Honduras and provide the positive attitude towards the sustainable development. While in Public Health Brigade, I helped improving the in-home infrastructures to prevent contamination of the life threatening diseases in the community. During the Medical/Dental week, I assisted in designing the educational workshops for kids and adults demonstrating the importance of basic hygiene. Besides that, I helped to provide dental care by assisting the professionals with oral procedures such as treatments, extractions, and preventative education. Show less
