For these sections I did weights training, learnt about finance and management in my role as Managing Director of Cafe 42 (see 'Experience' section) and worked in the Cafe after school hours serving food and drink. I also had to complete an expedition (lasting 4 days and 3 nights) and a residential component, which lasted a week and had to have an aim. There was also a a 2 day, 1 night expedition. I played rugby, completed a Police insight course, volunteered at the Strode Park Foundation (see 'Volunteering' section) and completed a short distance walk in unfamiliar surroundings in South-east Kent.

      Best Endeavour Award The British Army Nov 2009 At the end of a residential week with the Royal Gurkha Rifles at Folkestone army base, I was awarded with the medal for the Best Endeavour. This was awarded to the person who had given the best account of themselves throughout the week with regard to their attitude, enthusiasm and perseverance.
