  -Improved the physical condition of fragile and brittle books and pamphlets of the General Collections in order to provide access to readers and enhance the preservation of collections-Performed condition review on more than 2,600 object by sorting books by preservation issue and recommending treatment -Cataloged 60 books into the Carvalho Monteiro database and updated the ILS records to reflect the provenance -Surveyed 497 sections of the General Collections as part of the Stacks Survey Initiative which assessed environmental concerns, space management, and preservation issues present in the General Collection stacks-Monitored the General Collections storage area by conducting quality control on over 30,000 sections to prepare for the Stacks Survey team-Packaged over 500 miniatures to be sent to an offsite storage facility Show less
