  Spliced film. At that time, all commercials came to the station on FILM. We would take the daily log, go through the commercials, and splice them onto larger reels which would be used for the next day's programming.

  Started as a co-op student collecting on auto loans. Went on a "repo party" or two while working there. Yes, we would get a group of the collectors together occasionally to go out in the middle of the night and repossess cars. It is a lot safer that way! One time I got pulled over by the cops in Wyoming, OH because the owner called the Police and reported the car as 'stolen'. (Ahh.. good times!)

  Started out as a Credit Manager for Palm Beach Formals.Then Credit Manager for men's tailored ClothingThen moved into a programming position in corporate MIS.Programmed in COBOL, PL-1, but mostly RPG. Wrote the entire Accounts Receivable module for Palm Beach Formals. Installed and provided training on that system in Newnan, Georgia & Pompano Beach, Florida.

Implemented the company's first UNIX server. Managed implementation of their first computerized word dearch program at all branches around the U.S. Transitioned from S/36 to AS400.
