      Working in the safety department with a focus on respirable dust compliance and sampling. Other job duties include escorting/conferencing MSHA and WV State mine inspectors during their inspection of the mine, ensuring the workforce is using good health and safety practices, and working with production supervisors on mine planning and laws. Worked as a section foreman supervising a production crew on a continuous miner section. Worked in the mining engineering department. My main focuses were keeping track of underground production numbers and coal processing numbers by entering the data into a computer program, drawing mining plans in AutoCad, mine ventilation, and updating mine maps. Worked as a salaried supervisor over a production crew on both a continuous miner section and long wall section.
