I have taught in a variety of formats: face-to-face (traditional classroom), online, dual-credit (at local high schools), and accelerated cohorts.I was chosen by the school to be the pilot communication instructor for both their dual-credit program and for their accelerated cohort program.I was nominated by my students three years in a row for the Excellence in Teaching Award. The particular course I oversee is the basic course, tailored for College of Science students. As such, I organize and facilitate beginning fall faculty orientation, help new spring semester TAs and instructors acclimate to the course, update the course syllabus and schedule, provide regular communication explaining the week’s objectives and assignments, and create and implement new assignments.
