Global Payments Innovation (GPI) is the latest initiative introduced by SWIFT to provide real-time tracking of payments statuses by providing full transparency of where the payment is going, reducing costs and fees, and also allowing the customers to view the full details of remittance data of the payments throughout its journey to the beneficiary account. The system we created follows a microservices architecture; and is provided as a cloud solution for real-time scalability and guaranteed uptime, while also reducing costs as a result.
