  I worked in a wide variety of machine shops in this period of my work history.Working in tool/mold making shops / aerospace shops / tool and gage shops / basic job shops.Exposing me to a wide spectrum of machines and machining applications.Using conventional manual mills, lathes and surface and jig grinding machines, CNC lathes and CNC vertical and horizontal machines, EDM wire machines, EDM sinkers (manual and CNC).During this period I also learned and excelled in inspection techniques, CNC programing and shop process evaluation and job quoting.   Aluminum Die Cast Design Engineer

  Working directly with customers to develop and design parts for the aluminum die cast process, then design the die-cast dies using SoildWorks, Cadkey and AutoCAD. Making solid models and 2D prints. Using a CMM to reverse engineer existing dies with no 2D data or prints.

  Manage all aspects of day to day operations for manufacturing and staffing at the plant level. Design OEM product, production and assembly equipment and machines using SolidWorks, creating solid models and 2d prints. Evaluate and improve manufacturing processes. Design, layout, and changeover high output transfer machines (Porta / Hydromat / Govro / Kingsbury / Acmes). Design, layout and set-up and program CNC (Vert & Horz) machines for prototype and high production parts. Aid in establishing the inspections process control set-up and documentation.
