      Project Foreman

While employed by Kinsley I have worked as an excavation/grade foreman. Some of the projects that I have been involved with are the PA Turnpike Susquehanna River Bridge Project in Harrisburg, PA, and the I-83 Dead man’s Curve Project in York, PA. Two of the projects I was involved with were a 2+ million dollar paving project on Rte. 283 from the Eisenhower interchange at Harrisburg east, which involved some bridge deck rehabilitation and six miles of paving which was done at night. The other was a pre-cast box culvert on Rte. 462 in Lancaster County between Columbia and Mountville. In 2008 the jobs that I oversaw were an Oil Water Separator for the Susquehanna Area Regional Air Authority at the Capital City Airport and on Rte. 24 Mt. Zion Road. The project I am currently involved in is on East Market Street SR462 in York, PA. and the intersection of SR34 and SR 174 south of Carlisle, PA.  Oversite of daily field operations of a 13.7 million dollar job with four to five of our foreman and crews. Coordination with subcontractors to preserve work progress within our timeframe and hopefully prevent any scheduling conflicts between us and our subcontractors. I also maintained a relationship with the Penn DOT inspection staff and consultants to ensure that we were tracking and being paid for our contract quantities but also any extra work that was requested.Oversite of daily field operations of a 13.7 million dollar job with four to five of our foreman and crews.  While employed by Fulkroad construction I ran a 1.2 million dollar DCNR project which involved removal of an existing walk bridge and replacement with a new glue laminated timber deck bridge. Renovation of an old 300 foot railroad tunnel where we placed 1 foot steel reinforced concrete for a footer. Then installed a corrugated metal plate tunnel liner 11.5 feet in diameter and encased that with 750 cubic yards of type C flowable fill. Both ends of the tunnel had architectural treatment headwalls installed and the construction had to be coordinated with the mindset that as the liner was installed larger equipment could not go back through and had to be well thought out. After completion of the tunnel work there were 3 miles of rail to trail construction involving placement of approximately 6500 tons of 2A material. This year I was in charge of building a bridge on SR 30 east of Abbottstown, PA While employed by Fulkroad construction I ran a 1.2 million dollar DCNR project which involved removal of an existing walk bridge and replacement with a new glue laminated timber deck bridge.
