  • About me

    Gargi Sen is an Urban Planner with around 4 years of experience in urban development and government reforms sectors. She has worked extensively in projects related to urban physical infrastructure, urban poor and housing. She has experience of preparing policy documents pertaining to city and state level development programs. She was a key tem member in the preparation of Smart City Plan for 3 cities in West Bengal and Odisha. She has also prepared the City Sanitation Plan for 5 ULBs in Chhattisgarh including sanitation strategies and programmes for the identification and development of physical infrastructure projects, through private sector engagements, capacity building plans and community awareness. She has also worked extensively on the Rajiv Awas Yojana Scheme addressing the housing and infrastructure needs of the urban poor. Gargi holds a Bachelors in Architecture from Mumbai University and a Master’s in City Planning from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, West Bengal.
