  Created presentations and materials for sales managers across the country. Launched and managed the Money Magazine seminar business, acting as a liaison with editorial staff, choosing speakers, media relations, and general event planning. Garnered a $250,000 sponsorship from Chrysler.

  Responsible for creating direct marketing and targeted advertising programs for advertisers. Working wtih the team managing the Time Warner database, potential clients could be reached with specific and targeted messages. Biggest clients include: Marriott, Chrylser, and Ford.

  Part of three person team which launched the Shopping Channel, AOL's initial e-commerce platform for selling products and services on line. Negotiated the financial and legal terms for online advertising contracts. Managed over 20 accounts generating over $1.5 million in revenues.

  Having worked with students for over 15 years, I have honed my skills as both a mentor and coach. I help students navigate a variety of transitions including the college admissions process. Not only do I help them develop interview skills and write college essays but also determine the school that will be most suited to them. I am a proponent of looking beyond the typical data points and working with students to help them understand what motivates and inspires them so they can find the school or situation in which they will be most successful.   Working with students and families for over 10 years I understand they are looking to have an advisor and mentor for a longer continuum than just throughout the college application process. I shifted my business and now work with young adults as they navigate the college process, the college experience, internships, and career planning. My work involves assessment work, starting with the Birkman Method which helps students gain better self awareness by understanding what motivates them so they can have stronger relationships and a sense of purpose. We work together to develop their unique story which they will communicate in college applications, resumes, LinkedIn profiles, during interviews and while networking. Show less
