      SHINE is a charity set up by a group of HNW philanthropists to help raise the attainment of disadvantaged children from the North East, North West & Yorkshire. My first 12 months at SHINE were spent as EA Grants and Finance, however, a new member of staff was employed part-time to take over some of my role to enable me to implement more streamlined working practices for the business including the CRM system; Salesforce. Duties are varied but include:• HR role overseeing; recruitment, inductions, holiday, sickness and lieu time • Process online banking payments using Xero• Support accountants for monthly accounts and annual audit and managing operational budgets• Office management; liaising with external contractors regarding maintenance issues and office moves• Lead on GDPR • Lead on Health and Safety• Lead on Policies and Procedures • Manage the CRM for both grants and fundraising• Lead on the implementation of Salesforce upgrades to ensure it delivers best value across the team• Manage Board Meeting dates, book rooms, catering and produce accurate minutes for up to 18 people• Overseeing funding agreements for grantees and audit grant paperwork• Process donations and Gift Aid claims• Research• Absolute discretion and confidentiality Show less
