      - Part of our college curriculum is to find a contractor who makes commercial building with at least 10 storey structure and apply as an Intern. This developed my social skills on how to properly communicate and uphold my credibility as one of the best applicants.- As a part of MDC Team for the “Lerato Tower 3” project, the first step was to familiarize with different parts of the structures and the terms used in construction.- Discussion of Planning and Zoning. This is commonly done after the toolbox meeting where all engineers are present and discussion of how to execute the plan with proper coordination with different teams.- Estimate concrete for structures that are to be ordered on batching plant to be delivered on site based on the designed strength of concrete.- The “Vertis North Project”, the first step was to familiarize me with the Plans, Zoning, Teams per segment and the current situation of the site.- Discussion and familiarization of methodology for different structures.- Training on how to make a cutting list for all parts of the structures.- Quality check of installation if all are according to specifications from Concrete Dimensions, Rebar (Spacing, Size, Hook, Grade, etc.), Miscellaneous Items, and others.
