  As an Environmental Health and Safety Manager, being in the business of prevention goes unforeseen, but is selflessly rewarding. I had the pleasure of learning about many different positions and the importance of each role. Covering 5,800 acres of land, I oversaw 46 different safety programs for 15,600 employees while safeguarding assets totaling more than $3 billion. I successfully coordinated 10 safety campaigns which was vital to reducing mishaps, trained and developed 1,200 front-line supervisors in federal, OSHA, and municipal regulations; key to zero OSHA violations and 20% reduction in mishaps.Working in a diverse office of subject matter experts was key to our program & process development, operations oversight, and risk management. Collaborating with multiple base and local agencies strengthened our partnership and efforts in reducing injuries, leading to Safety Office of the Year. Show less As an aircraft maintainer stationed in Okinawa, Japan, I performed daily inspections, maintenance and refueling on a $700M fleet. Safety and quality assurance was vital in carrying out medical evacuation missions, presidential support and humanitarian missions.Key duties were leading a diverse team, management, and training. Selected for the Flying Crew Chief program; tasked with inspecting, coordinating maintenance and logistics. Deployed in support of Nepal earthquake humanitarian mission for over 3M civilians.
