  Mr. Hoffman was responsible for collecting all of the files that were on the calendar each day, alphabetizing them and taking them to court. While in court Mr. Hoffman was responsible for filling out the calendar as cases were called. This required him to listen as each case was called, to record the adjourn date and a code to reflect what had transpired during the calendar call. Mr. Hoffman was also required to fill out orders of protection and waivers of appeal. Upon returning to the office after the completion of the calendar call, Mr. Hoffman was required to make copies of the completed calendar and to distribute them to the clerks office, the paralegals and the bureau supervisors. His responsibilities also included returning the files to the assigned Assistant District Attorneys. In addition to the above tasks, Mr. Hoffman was also called upon to prepare the folders that were taken to court each day and at the end of each week to tally the number of arraignments, pleas and dismissals and to distribute a chart with these numbers to the bureau supervisors.
