  Taught English at 10 different elementary and junior high schools in Usa City, Oita Prefecture. Planned and facilitated summer camps for 8 and 9 year olds, as well as high school students.Helped formulate new ideas and strategies for teaching English as a foreign language to Japanese students. Communicated in a foreign language environment where no English is spoken, providing interpretation and translation services when required by the City Hall and Board of Education. Volunteered to give conversional (eikawa) classes weekly to working adults in the city and facilitate various activities in English.
