  • Adding functionality using specs from Management and Marketing for developing the Marketing Layer of the corporate website. • Worked closely with the Editorial group, the Research group and the Marketing group to gather content. The tools used were Microsoft Site Server, Microsoft Visual Interdev for all development work, Visual SourceSafe for version control, Notes and Onyx for bug tracking. Maintaining the external website involved hand coding in HTML and creating SQL scripts.• Developing and maintaining the company’s Intranet using NetObjects Team Fusion Publishing Software and SQL 6.5.• Maintaining JAVA and C programs which download and parse new items for the company website. These applications generated HTML documents from the news feed for the website and then updated records in the SQL database.• Developed a Visual Basic Module to Parse XML into HTML files for the corporate website’s new Third Party Content. This module includes database connections to query for keywords and insert a record for each new article.• Providing quality assurance for the Marketing website by testing it on different browsers and detecting errors.   • Built custom web-based Client Management System used by 35 in-house Account Managers using ASP, HTML and SQL Queries to process 1.5 million user records stored in the SQL Server 2000 database. This tool was used for the 300+ clients.• Created Email engine using CDO NTS to create and send out an average of 50,000 custom email messages. Used FileSystem Object and XMLHttpRequest to manage and update files. • Created and maintained specification sheets for projects, including test plans for quality assurance. • Built templates for online courses; add XML driven course content, client-side as well as server-side Javascript functions to track progress within courses.
