  I have joined Foster Wheeler- in Sept-2010 ,for their contract with Indian Oil Corporation ( IOCL)-Paradip Refinery Project,Orissa,India.Involved in construction of EHV/HT GIS electrical Distribution substation and other 15 nos substation in grass route refinery, Involved from site leveling to the commissioning stage of Electrical systems and resolved all complicated interface issues of all consultants of different units of the project. I was engaged for Managing the PMCs role( MPMC) ,on behalf of the client. All the technical issues encountered during the construction face were successfully solved and full satisfaction of the client as per the project specification. Planned cable laying schedule in common UG trenches for all contractors/consultants of the project and implemented successfully,with quality and safety.Involved in Field engineering and Relocated the High mast lighting towers all over the project as per the requirement of the project units of different contractors.Temporary construction power and emergency power feeders to the project were successfully reinstated.Monitored the progress of two consultants EPCM-2 and EPCM-7 of PDRP project.Responsible for forecast of the completion date of the substations to the client as per the ongoing construction progress.Active participation in the weekly and monthly meetings with contractors and clients as part of the project activity to access the real progress and helping them to solve the issues.Provided expert advice/recommendation to client and consultant for technical issue.Monitored the daily manpower at site for EPCM-2 and EPCM-7 Electrical substation Package. As a main contractor all UG facilities were studied and relocated to finalise the HV and LV cable routes.Successfully Shifting of live communication cables Fiber optic and others with Manhole were with high care. This was important to design Hv cable route within the complex UG utilities.Transportation , erection and assembling of Packaged substations in running refinery was a big challenge,it was successfully completed at site. There Four substations for GSEC scope.Coordination with transport contractor and vendor was done successfully for all substations and Emergency DG Sets in the project.Actively Involved in shutdown work of Unit 25 for two times to complete the additional electrical starters, MCCs for Flare and later for unit 25 within time limit.Coordinated with CP system vendor and execution contractor to complete execution of Cathodic system for Tanks 4 nos and UG pipe lines/ Road crossings of the project.Precommissioning of the Electrical Motors with associated electrical gears were done in the project. Also resolved the teething issues instantly.Coordinated with Process Operation team,client construction/maintenance team and contractors to minimize the unsafe work practice, Timely delivery of the construction work and avoiding rework/rejection.
