  As a Resident Advisor, I served as a resource and peer role-model to Virginia Tech first-years living in on-campus housing. I was directly responsible for approximately 50 residents each school year, and I worked with a team of 13-17 other RA's to serve a community of over 500 residents. To provide students with the best on-campus housing experience, I developed and facilitated student programs/activities, promoted a safe and inclusive environment for all, and provided students with the information and advice they may need during their first year in college.I have served in this position for 4 semesters.   Martian Subsurface Analysis Team

  Structures Team Assistant

  The Martian Subsurface Analysis Team is a NASA RASC-AL funded research project and design team at Virginia Tech. This team's objective was to design, build, and test a robotic prospecting drill that could extract liquid water from frozen ice sheets within a simulated Lunar/Martian surface.- Collaborated on designs for structural components using SOLIDWORKS.- Performed hardware development and troubleshooting in a lab environment.- Key Accomplishments: In both 2019 and 2020 our team was selected to be 1 of 10 finalists, allowing us to be granted a 10000 USD stipend from NASA to construct and test our design.   Lifeguard

  As a lifeguard, I improved the overall safety of the Ulster County Pool Complex for over 500 patrons by providing trained supervision and certified rescue & first aid skills when needed. I worked with a high functioning team of lifeguards, maintenance staff, and attendees to ensure smooth operation of the pool complex.

  Aerospace Engineering Senior Design Capstone. I directed of a team of 11 aerospace seniors in designing a mission architecture for asteroid mining within the scope of small-satellite technology. This project was sponsored by Northrop Grumman.- Facilitated progress on the design by assigning weekly objectives for my team, and ensured on-schedule project performance.- Leveraged the talents and expertise of team members to effectively drive productivity.- Oversaw the development of STK trajectory simulation, subsystem level design, and component trade-studies.- Interfaced with faculty advisor and industry sponsor to articulate project status.- Developed, in collaboration with team members, technical budgets, mission CONOPS, and other design documents.- Achieved the highest marks for the Fall 2021 project evaluation amongst all aerospace senior design teams.   Intergrated Modeling Team on the NASA Human Space Flight Technical Integration Contract (HSFTIC).- Conducted CAD-based analyses to support pre-planning integration for the International Space Station (ISS).- Delivered assessments to clients with 2-3 week turnaround, and improved team capabilities to expedite unique analyses.- Collaborated with ISS Program organizations, International Partners, and Commercial Providers to evaluate feasibility of integrating hardware and payloads within the ISS internal volume.- Subject-matter expert for ISS internal volume and associated requirements and constraints.- Trained new hires on core team functions which increased team efficiency and analysis delivery to clients.
